Empty Flat Bed trailer going to Arizona

Hey All, I found My Donor Car in the Pheonix Area down in Arizona...I am Unfortunately going to have to trailer it Home....So I am Driving My Suburban and Car trailer down to retrieve it......

To help me with cost of Fuel which is going to be just over the 500.00 round trip I am here to ask and see if anyone needs any parts or Pieces shuttled....? I will have the entire rear of My Truck open both ways for smaller parts, And the trailer open going south......

I am tetatively traveling I-5 South from Eugene, Oregon to the L.A. area before cutting over East to Pheonix....On my return trip I am most likely going to shoot straight north and Run through Salt Lake City Utah on my way Home....Although I may do it the reverse Order.....

If any of you are on the route or near enough that we can Connect to shuttle Parts Let me know, I am Leaving Eugene Early Friday morning the week of October 7th....

Please Post requests here, And If the Mods Could Sticky this I'd thank them....Also If You deem it needs to be somewhere else Do so....

thanks in advance, Hope we can help one another
John in Eugene.....

Hey, I made a similar trip 3 years ago, but from Napa, I bought 40 gallons of 6 gallon gas cans and only gassed up wher petro was cheap, this allowed me to save money on gas and the cans more than paid for themselves, gas on major interstates was a solid 45-50 cents more expensive at that timethan gas in hub towns, also, go to www.gasbuddy.com to get a general idea of where to look for cheaper gas, but look for yourself too, their word isn't gods.

Where is Van Noys from Pheonix..?

Also, I will need a total width of Vehicle...? My trailer deck is 6'2" wide, I built it for Subies, So other cars are sometimes a Challenge.....I have Done an 82 Thunderbird on it though, so ...?

As far as Cost...? I need to see where Van Noys is..?

Do you have a # you can e-mail or PM me , And We can Chat directly about it..?

Talk soon, John

Better info now....:)

Hey Motorsport-SVX if you need or want, I can go thru Van Nuys.....It is only slightly off track for me if I shoot straight south.....I originally looked for it in Az..... Duh me.....lol

Now I see it appears to be a Burb of the Greater L.A. area.....

Looking on Mapquest Nuys To Tucson is Roughly 500 miles and then I have to go back north from Tucson 125 miles to where My SVX is sitting....Have you priced What it will cost to go get the thing or to have a Car hauler move it for you yet...?

I will be up late tonite, so if you read this call me still I'll be up till 11pm My time...you are an hr ahead of me I think..?

Talk soon, John

Hey Motorsport-SVX....

I can do it for say $250.00 thats a bit cheaper than your quotes....Will help pay for fuel and a bit of my time for going slightly out of my way...

Does the car drive...Meaning could it be driven from the L.A. area.....? Might be easier since I have a Co-driver.....

Let me know.....If possible , and you do want me to do this, call me , or e-mail me a contact # for you....

Later, John

theres no insurance on it and I dont trust having it driven, too many
things can break on an oldler car, but it runs and drives onto a hauler okay The price is right though

I have un-stickied this message. It seems like Dayle is the only interested party and this can be continued without the sticky if required.
