There can be caravans from both spots, but I think a bigger meet would be better so I would prefer not having two mini-meets.
Matt,

We would come over for a Bay ARea meet if we knew about it. Yes, the Reno meet was fun. San Luis Obispo is okay.

San Luis Obispo

Ok, who knows San Luis Obispo? I haven't been there since I was a kid. We need someone who knows the area fairly well, any takers?

Born and raised in SLO-town I guess I would qualify. Left 35 years ago, but still have ties (and family) there. What did we have in mind Hoho?

San Luis Obispo

Hmmm, maybe a BBQ at a nice seaside park for pictures. I've never planned a meet so I could use some ideas, so everyone post their ideas and we'll vote on them.

OK, I'll be down there a bit this next month or so, with my mom-in-law ailing. I'll scout around a little and talk to friends about a spot we might tie up on a Sunday. Great steakhouse (McClintocks) in Shell Beach might fit for lunch with a banquet room. Lots of beach areas in reach from there too. Or we could hit Morro Bay for fish-n-chips and the "Rock" and NorthSide Beaches(Cayucos) for photo-ops. I'll take a look. Beats hanging around a hospital bed.

Everybody ok with San Luis Obispo? After all if only three people show up it would kind of suck.

SLO Meet

I'm thinking middle to end of march, it'll be a little warmer. We decided it will be a Sunday, so the dates are 13th, 20th or 27th. I'm leaning towards the 20th, but if anyone has an issue with it please post.

Poll

I've never set up a poll, I suppose we could just have people reply and I can keep it updated. Unless someone else knows how to set up one, what about you Rojo?

March may be a little rainy. Well, based on this week, maybe a LOT rainy. Plus the coast will be cold in March. I think late April/early May would be best. More daylight, warmer and prior to the the Memeorial Day and post-Memorial Day mobile homes and campers that slow PCH to a crawl.

Talking

I'm in! Middle of Cali would be easiest for me, but I'll drive anywhere. There is a black SVX also here in Sonora but it doesn't run.

Ooops. I didn't read this far yet! San Louis Obisbo works just fine. March and May are both fine too as long as it's not the rodeo weekend in May I'll be busy then but I don't know what weekend that is yet.
