when i got my car, i was looking around the lot trying to find it. i look up a hill and about 100 yards away (more or less) and all i can see is from the yellow reflector in the light sticking out from in front of some suv but i knew it was an svx

you spend days trying to figure out how the water in your trunk got there......

you almost go into a siezure when you find out you have a sliding compartment under the seat......

you spend every second watching and bidding over 100 $ on a cup holder.........

when you first get it you cant figure out how to make the steering wheel stay in place.....(till you find the 3rd lever)

your brake light on your dash never goes off........

YOUR SUNROOF NEEDS A PUSH TO OPERATE PROPERLY!!!..........

you constantly look for ways to give your car some more hp, by looking at 20$ ebay electric superchargers.......

you spend too much money on overpriced(shipping cost) jdm parts from japan....(including hood emblems)

you have at least 5 sets of spare keys (crappy subaru material keys).........

I have owned my SVX for a year now, and I can relate to all of that. speaking of which where can I find the hex wrench that came with the SunRoof one of my dip**** friends decided that I did not need anymore since he had no use for it.

I can realate to almost everything mentioned minus the bumping of the head on anything.

You know your're an SVX owner in Alaska when everyone remembers your car when it was new and thought it was either big on the outside and small inside, slow, plain ugly, or not as a cool as a huge truck.

Ok now i'm only 5'1'', maybe 5'2'' when i feel tall but i know i have definately hit my head getting in, after being in a larger car and then getting into my own. The change is drastic enough for me not to realize.

I'm around 5'11"-6'ish and I don't recall ever hitting my head although my spikes used to skim the roof.

.... any vibration or noise that is out of the ordinary makes you panic over the possibility of tranny trouble

.... your work schedule somehow coinsides with the local police shift changes

... you have found the most curvatious possible way to work

... when driving something non-SVX you look at the windows like something important is missing

and on the headbanging note i have only hit my head once, that was when i was getting into the passanger seat too fast

You know you're an addicted SVX owner...

...when driving other cars you are distracted by the LACK of a split window.

...when your ears are always on guard for that "wheel bearings going bad" sound

...when you check out the wheels of other cars to see if they're on "backwards"

...when you curse at your sagging sun visor

...when your ebay username has "svx" in it somewhere

...when every other car you drive can't come close to the high-speed cruising smoothness of your SVX!

You know that you're an SVX owner when:

You need the outside front bumper EZ-Pass transponder.

You park at a nuclear power plant facing the reactor building and you try to impress your date by calmly explaining that there is no need for alarm, because the titanium oxide coating in the windshield not only protects her from microwaves but also from alpha, beta & gamma rays.
