Arrow Hey, No Swearing!

Now that I got your attention, we have noticed an increase in the amount of swearing in posts on the board. We will be turning up the swear filter to catch some of these before they make it into a post and the mods are patrolling the forums, editing posts which contain swear words.

As has been said many times in the past, this is a site that is family friendly (think...I don't know...how about the Happy Days family ). We want discussions to be civil and language acceptable to anyone who happens to click on the site and browse.

Many other sites that I frequent have a no swearing policy and it is now being enforced here.

Think before you type and click the Submit button and we should be fine, mkay?

Thanks,
Todd

Perhaps we will have to go "retro" by using the old substitutes:

Shazbot!
Frack!
Feldercarb!

So, can anyone tell me where these "futuristic" curse words came from?

Shazbot ...My old friend Robin Williams as Mork
Frack... Battle star Galactica... early 70's version
Feldercarb..(repeated in Battlestar Glactica) first introduced on the air by Fibber Mcgee and Molly in the 40's I think....
