Finally
got a nice used radiator (thanks Sam)
its at the manufacturer as we speak getting the new mock up made. No more plastic tanks. Better pricing Probably aluminum-copper combination

be once they look at it. My Svx's always run at half on the gauge, dont see much of a need to go any bigger, and Im in Arizona and run 100+ temps for 4-6 months.....

yeah, I know what you mean....I've just always wondered what "1/2 gage" actually coverts to temperature-wise. It would be nice to have some margin if any of us are actually able to find a way to realistically bump the output of the engine up to the point where cooling is an issue with the stock radiator

svxride, if your considering performance when buying a radiator don't bother. I have talked extensively with rallispec and our current radiator can withstand considerably more power, as is true with most radiators. If your concerned about performance start with turbos, nos, or na or something, radiator is your least problem at this point. Chris

bill, yeah its kinda hard to pick up sarcasm online (i've always hated that with aim and email and what not)
but anyway, in all honesty i think part of the problem is hardened hoses that initially cause the plastic cracks in our radiators. I mean i could be totally wrong, but i remember taking off my hoses and they were pretty rigid, the new ones were much more flexible. just my .02 chris
