We just tried flushing the filter. The filter doesnt seem to be blocked. We hooked it back up and rechecked the fluid levels.

The car still does shudder around turns. Now when I'm stopped and I am in drive I will feel a jerk as if I were shifting back in drive.

I dont know what to do now. I'm going back on monday to have them look at it. I want them to reflush the transmission cooler but if not I really want them to do something about it. I shouldnt have had to pay 100 dollars for my car to stop functioning the same day. It was running perfectly for the 6 months I've had it and the fluid was only a little brownish so I decided to change it.

I'm at the point where I'm gonna sell my car and just get a new cheap POS. I'm so frustrated and upset that I can't drive my car and it's so hard to find anyone that can work on it.

Should I drive with the FWD fuse in it to get to the garage? It's about 25 highway miles.

What kind of fuse should I put in to get the car into FWD mode? If it stops, is it the duty C selenoid?
When my duty sol. c went I couldn't get it into FWD. It wouldn't let it go!

MY car gets into FWD! Hopefully thats somewhat of a good sign!

Should I drive it to the mechanic to make them reflush with the FWD fuse or without it though?

It turns out that they used an airgun to blow all my lines out. Could they have ruptured something inside the tranny itself like blow out a bearing or something?

Sometimes changing the fluid in a trans with high miles can cause problems believe it or not. The problem is probably the transfer clutches themselves. I have replaced many transfer clutches and plates for this problem. The clutches always look fine but a new set always does the trick. Very rarely if ever have I replaced a duty solenoid C in the transfer case.
