Tell me about CEL Code 12

I was driving today for longer time than I usually drive and I was on the highway and the CEL popped on. Now, since my car has been having problems for years now, I was hoping that this CEL would point me in the right direction. However, the only code I pulled from the ECU was code 12, which is the Starter Switch or circuit.

I have no problems starting, and the CEL came on whenever I was slowing down from 65 to 0 at a stoplight. Whenever the RPM's dropped low, the CEL would come on and then the RPM's would surge and then settle and repeat this process. Putting the car back in gear and getting back up to speed made the CEL go off.

Any thoughts? It was pretty rainy today and I do have the relay mod so maybe something strange went on..but after I shut the car off and turned it back on, the CEL hasn't come back and I had no problem starting.

i haven't seen this on an svx but on some cars it's common to have excessive voltage drop through the ignition switch to the ecm which makes the car think you are trying to start it when you are just driving.
