OK.
It WAS the fuel pump. I got one from Repco for under $150. Lube Mobile installed for $156. Good deal on both accounts!! I recommend Lube Mobile. They were cheap, fast and provided a warranty. DON'T get the part from Subaru as they wanted $1,300. Thanks for all the help. Now, I can focus on the OTHER problems....
