Local guv-ment on drugs!!

I am 'risking all'. Our local guv-ment has allowed a 'failed' local health system to render a main artery to our local 'industrial park' useless. Now any truck that wants to get to our facility has to negotiate a maze of turns and side streets to TRY to get to the 'Industrial' park. The direct link has been closed to anything bigger than 10,000#!

We have a FEMA site rented for over $1,000,000 per year that they CANNOT get a Mobile home to!
They have 5,000 mobiles parked there, but the ramp that they used to PUT them there is now limited to 10,000!

My vote goes to a 'president' that thinks he can disreguard the will of the voters that put him there, the Md Constitution, Federal law, (under the guise of 'code home rule', the old addage that 'Time wounds all heals', etc, Yea, our OWN Jimmy!!!

( we report, as we s-l-o-w-l-e-y move all of our holdings OUT of the socialist regime of allegany county guv-ment.)

( Why do we think that Mineral County keeps GROWING and WE have to put LEG IRONS on our 'new' arrivals'???)

We even put LIMITS on the MAIN road that FEMA was using to drag the trailers INTO PPG!!

HOWEVER, a big truck has a direct route to LEAVE town, in either direction. Seems to fit the 'profile'!

Money, young workers, Big business, It ALL has been 'Leaving town' since '72'....Now we have PRISONS!! Prisons where a textile plant used to be, where a swimming pool used to be, where I used to hunt rabbits. We have the commisioners meeting room where WORLD-WIDE sales of tires were discussed!

I guess we can FIND ANOTHER renter for the plant... (As long as they don't need TRUCKS over 10,000 GROSS weight to BY pass the downtown exit!!)



Can youn SEE a Mobil HOME on HOWARD st!!???!! Now that is PLANNING!!

(super sharp, super narrow ramp that NO ONE would try to haul a mobile home down, unless he didn't KNOW that our leaders are MORONs that didn't care if he broke telephone poles or ripped the sides off of a mobile home.)

(seems to me that I mentioned this MONTHS before the 'punch-line of the JOKE was told!!)

Our 'Industrial park 'has just been rendered USELESS to any industry by the installation of the LAME circle on willowbrook!

We didn't need that $1,000,000 PLUS that FEMA was paying for our EMPTY land in Mexico Farms, ( a place where PPG Glass bailed 20 years ago! It stood empty for 17 years untill FEMA rented it because they could get trailers in and out quick)

OK we have an 'industrial park' that caters to TRUCKS UNDER 10,000 GROSE!!

Now, any truck approaching from 68 west that weighs over 10,000 # will HAVE to come down Industrial Bvd exit!! or come through PawPaw!

They COULD come down Baltimore Avenue, move onto Front street and cross at Baltimore st.(better put in a BIG supply of telephone poles)

They could go out Henderson and cross over to Mechanic street somewhere, then drive downtown hauling the MOBILE HOME , (or piece of machinery that makes the widjet) (Better keep a tow truck on stand-by to pull him across the tracks before CSX needs them)

I see this as the final nail in allegany county's coffin! This place has done so many STUPID things that go directly AGAINST what the 'lip service' says!

This is WORSE than the 'Goad' crucifiction!! This is 'Industrial Park' SUICIDE!!!

(Goad is our local Sheriff that they yanked the road patrol off of to create a new FEDERALLY FUNDED 'local' police force)

IF I was trying to 'MARKET' an 'Industrial Park' I would have a 4 lane to the FRONT DOOR!!
(instead of catering to a medical facility that can't keep DRs, reduced the number of beds, does NOT offer a LOT of 'services' that our population needs) I am ready to drink the cool-aid! My Lord... I personally believe Governor Martin O'Malley and the Lt. Governor Anthony G. Brown are absolutely retarded. They seem so confident that they can not only run Maryland the "correct" way but they can also fix the continuously failing and still dropping, housing market. Certain programs may be available to assist you if you are behind in your mortgage or struggling to keep up... HA! That's a joke! I work for the DHCD and the "Hope" program that O'Malley set up himself and you want to know what we really do? Sit in Frostburg, take calls, and direct people SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I'm not sure where all the funds for Maryland went to assist people with their mortgage.. Nobody here knows, nobody at the DHCD's main office knows. Truth is, you won't find help locally. The only way to find assistance is to go to a federal program where you end up owing the federal govt up to a MINIMUM of 50% of what the value of your home is! I hate this place, I hate my job. Nobody gets help here no matter how hard I try..

As for the federally funded police? It's just a way for the elected officials to control the police instead of the Sheriff because he was unwilling to cooperate with the crap that they wanted him to do..

Also, another tourist project in Cumberland is set. Let's build another hotel to attract people to "Historic Cumberland" so they can see the rednecks kissing sheep and stare blankly and stupidly at the effing Potomac..

If I would have known the hospital build was going to be this much of a mess, I wouldn't have been excited for it in the first place. What is Hunter Douglas going to do now as well? And what about the Bayliner place?

Bayliner plant I shut down last year, plant II DIED in November of 08. I followed the last load of boats down the highway the day they turned out the lights!

As for the hotel thing, they still have a LOT of empty rooms at rocky gap that they can't fill.

I WISH I could blame this mess on o'weenie!! It's OUR commissioners that are screwing us!!

New business in or AROUND Cumberland would be amazing! As long as it doesn't fail, like every single new business in or around cumberland has. Nobody thought Value City was going to go, but it finally did.

As for the new hotel, it's placed DIRECTLY in front of an exit ramp facing twards Frederick and DC.. What we could use is a clean up of the city. Knock down some of those old "historical" messy crack-head/rat infested buildings and make room for businesses or other residential venues. Now is not a good time to be building or buying any real-estate but it would be great to seize a few potentially dangerous buildings and knock them down. Although half the city wouldn't exist anymore but the other half would be beautiful(That last bit may have been over-exaggerated a little).

One of my MAJOR pevs about this city are the roads.. We are getting plenty of money from the 3 or 4 prisons we have, but where is it going? To "Canal Fest"? F**k "Canal Fest!" Fix the roads!!! I think we are the last city in America with brick roads for god's sake!

Instead of focusing on tourists so heavily, we could be building newer and safer schools. My nasty ex girlfriend would take advantage of the very VERY poorly secured vocational center (ccte) and sneak off from school with nobody noticing?! In a car with 6 boys no less!?!? It's terrible...
