I am not sure if you are really talking about TopGear, they always admire and have been favs of Alfa Romeo, and that is why they have a full episode of Alfa Romeo last season.... they always quote.."you cant be a true petrohead until you own an Alfa Romeo" and Jeremy is still a fav of Milano (which he owned it once). Maybe you should read this article on Alfa Romeo 159 by Jeremy and you can also watch Jeremy reviews on 166, 147, 8C and Brera.

Re: Wow!! After 15 years atlast here it is......

I like the Alfa's my old best friend had one his parents had a few as well, none of the crazy new uber expensive fast ones. My dad's friend who's a Ferrari collector also had quite a few old very expensive alfa's that were pretty cool too. here are some pictures....

My SVX and his alfa... back when she was still teal n had stock exhaust mind you!

And then the ones of my dad's friends alfa's I'll attach they aren't hosted anywhere... The first one is a ferrari/alfa lol it's pretty old school, then the other alfa, and I included pics of his 1 of 6 in the world ferrari MM spyder(not GT I was mistaken on the name) and his f40 n then his wife's daily driver, a spyder.... well I'll post them on the second post I guess... I met my limit.. but at the time we visited them that mm spyder was worth 3 million...

the rest of the pics...

They not only collect the Ferrari's n such but they race them competitively, pretty cool people. Google them if you're curious, ed and leslie davies n put ferrari and you can see some of their races n stuff. My dad went to college with him. He ended up marrying a rich chick n well, lets jus say he's got it made.

But I have to say its a nightmare to maintain it, mainly interior electricals. Other than that even the interior layout looks unique. Listening to an Alfa on a track is like going to a musical night, its not the exhaust systems that make noise, mainy its their engines that make that melodious, yet aggressive and distinctive sound that makes you feel even at lower rpms .

If you ever wanna buy an Alfa, the first thing to look after, MAINTAINENCE HISTORY(period).
