I can't thank you two enough! You drove 7 hours to do a transmission swap for my car in just about 5 hours. I don't think Tom has ever moved that fast
 . Everything seems okay, brake band needs to be adjusted but all in all seems to be fine. They drove 7 hours to get here and then straight to the shop and did the swap in about 5 hours due to how long it took to get their. Tom even took time to help an STI owner with changing his spark plugs  Also we got a new axle in there and also the rear main seal. Which apperantly my flex plate (previous owner) had rubbed against the block and left some nice marks which tom was surprised to see. Fun time I'm exhuasted still went and voted and Hope Tom and Di can make it back to make their vote count! Thanks again!

Speaking from experience, the marks come from the flexplate being cracked the over flexing into the block

Well just a slight update
 unplugged the resistor and the shifting issue went away as advised by OT. Need to make a slight note on the time it took to get it done according to tom it was 6 hrs but I calculated only 5 1/2 of actual work but we all know YT would have had it done already . I just can't thank you two enough for doing that and also for the phone support on the issue. Great people you are!
