rear wheel bearings
i know alot of you have replaced rear wheel bearings and now mine are getting to the point where they have to be changed.I'm wondering if aftermarket bearings are any better than oem.Anyone have any suggestions?Experience? Thanks. dennis

one of mine went the other day so called the subaru dismantler they sold me the hole unit with a good bearing and a year warenty for about the same price minis the price for pressing the bearings on. and with out the mess easy fix if your short on time or on a tight budget.

thanks for the replies.looks like i'll go with oem.probably going to replace the trailing bushings as well.they seem to have a lot of play in them.

I hope I don't have that much trouble.I've already got most of the bolts loose(good ole pb blaster) and it looks like heat should loosen the two others.Whether they come out of the bushings is a different story.The bolt that holds the trailing arm to the subframe looks like it could be a problem! I've already replaced the swaybar links and bushings last year.Thanks for the tip about the arm,if it's too much trouble i will probably just swap them out with new.
