next new beater?

I'm considering getting rid of my 93 s10 blazer and picking this up for a change of pace. If it runs good, great and if it doesn't I might be able to use parts for the svx. Does anybody know of any watchouts?

Those are nice cars. I'm skeptical of just how much will interchange with your SVX though.

That particular car looks to have been a support vehicle for a bicycle team. You may want to check into that. Remember, for the last few years of his carrer Lance Armstrong was sponsored by Subaru.

120K miles, on a 2000MY!

Though I guess if it was all mileage following bicycles, you don't have to worry about it being beat up...

you might need a couple gallons of Goo-Gone for the stickers.

...I used to do that in just a couple years. If I had a 2000 new, I'm sure it would be well over 300k by now... don't fear miles, fear unmaintained.

I have a 98 Outback, and I don't know of any parts that will interchange except of the air in the tires.

rear calipers, air and fuel filters, tranny and diff(partial), pitch stopper, water and oil pump look the same on my 97<- don't know about the newer ones, I think they changed the WP at least

I drove it today and it looks and drives great. It has all of the maint records - T-belt, tranny and air filters just replaced. All fluids looked good. Prev owners said that they got 29 mpg on trips.

The stickers are all vinyl and will come off with a hair dryer. Most are off already because the prev owner wanted to wax it. He took them off with hot water.

I thought that 120K on the OD was pretty average. I have that on my honda and it's the same year.

I put a down payment on it to hold it until I get the carfax report.

It was a surprisingly comfortable vehicle. I'll post pics as soon as I get them.

This just might become my main ride.

75% of the subis I own had more than that on them when I bought them.

The lower milage cars had the most rust, from SITTING.
