Save this baby?
I found a Green 96 in a junkyard nearby in Columbus, OH. They told me it was totaled by insurance because of the scratches around the rear passenger side wheel. I didn't look much into it, but it i was told it had only been there about 3 weeks, had around 100k miles, and the interior was in great condition. I only saw the car from the exterior, because they had it up off the ground, but the underside of the car was very clean as well as the engine. The only thing I noticed wrong was the front cats where removed for storage. They also told me that they just drove it to the junkyard and didn't need towed.
I should have gotten a Vin# but I didn't think of it at the time. They were asking $2900. If you wanna inquire the place is called Universal Auto Parts & Salvage Ph: 614-224-6900 or 614-221-4045 or 866-299-6900. I was also wondering if it was owned by anyone on the network?

So Sad!!
Unfortunately, once a salvage operation has one of these vehicles it is generally to late. They can get more for the parts than they can the whole car. Sad. The truth is that very few of these 100k+ mileage cars are worth $2900. The fact that it is a 96 might help it but the color hurts it.
