Dead Transmission Suggestions...

So...I'm finishing up my 5-speed conversion, and I have this old auto transmission from a 92 SVX LS-L sitting in my garage. It's in the dreaded limp-home mode (or whatever you call it when 3rd gear is where you start and the loudest part of the car is the torque converter!), and reverse still works.

Any ideas of what I can do with it? I'd figure that core on something like this would be pretty high, but I'm fully prepared to just get rid of it in a junk yard, although moving the 200 lbs hunk of junk will certainly be a chore.

If you're creative you can make supports and put a piece of glass on the top... sounds like a great idea for a coffee table.

If you're lucky, you might be able to sell the design to IKEA.

Some member might want to use it as a core for a Level 10 rebuild. Post to the wanted/for sale forum, who knows?
