1992-1994 SVX articles

I thought I had thrown these Car & Driver and MotorTrend magazines out, but I came across 5 magazines from the early years of the SVX. Long term tests, comparisons with GT cars and an early Best Bang for the Buck test. Comments were generally consistent with our experiences (great touring car, not a sports car, cool windows). I'll try and scan them and put in my locker.

Do you have the Road & Track Guide to the SVX? Great reading.

I'm looking forward to the articles you're going to scan, though...

R&T Guide to the SVX

Nick,
I have never seen this guide. Is it a section within the magazine or is it a stand alone publication. I'm more of a C&D guy than a R&T, but I'd like to see the guide sometime.

BTW, have a blast down in E'ville this weekend and watch out for the Indiana State Troopers. They don't play games and typically aren't that friendly (can you say no warnings?)

I was one of the lucky ones. 86 in a 65 --- I got a warning. Yes, miracles DO happen. Of course the "County Mounty" didn't let me off for 76 in a 55 with Nooooooo traffic on the road . . . oh, except him, of course.

The R&T Guide is a stand-alone publication and has a little over 100 pages of info on and pictures of the SVX's development.

If you find one on eBay I'd recommend picking it up. Fantastic reading.

Thanks - I will have a good time. And, I doubt I'll be driving at speeds which will get me pulled over. 130mph may fly in VT where you're more likely to hit a moose than see a prowler, but I don't dare do such things here in the populated midwest.

Some light reading for you all..

I finally scanned and uploaded into my locker 4 articles featuring or comparing our beloved SVX from the 1992-1994 era. Feel free to do whatever you will with them. The comments are interesting and generally agree with how we feel about the car (great long distance car, true GT, not a sports car, etc.)

BTW- Mr. Pockets I've got a copy of the R&T Guide on its way to my door as we speak
