Sighting: Interlaken, Switzerland
I was in Interlaken, Switzerland on my way to go skydiving in the alps when I saw a maroon SVX at the Interlaken West train station. Anybody here? First SVX I've seen in my 2 months in Europe! It was exciting...not quite as exciting as skydiving, though

Hey bud!
How's the trip going? Not letting school get in the way of the education I see!

Going great
The trip is going very well. It's difficult to let shcool get in the way of my education when we've only got class 3 days a week. We spend a majority of our time outside Germany. We've been to Spain, France, Italy, Brussles, Czech Republic, Greece, Austria, and Switzerland. I believe that's it. Now, my question for you...how's that 5 speed coming?
One thing that is probably of interest to people on this forum was my trip to the Porsche assembly plant in Stuttgart. One guy builds an entire engine for a GT2, GT3, or 911 in about 200 minutes. A boxter engine takes less time because parts come assembled from the suppliers. The other engines are 100% assembled at Stuttgart, though. Each guy builds about 3-4 engines a day. Not a bad day. Collin, I'll be back in MI on Jan 8th for the winter semester. It's gonna be a killer for me with 20hours, my thesis, and RA responsibilities. Oh well, I gotta make up for the slacking in Europe somehow. -Mat P.S. Tried to rent a 911 to take on the A8 between Stuttgart and Munich, but found out that I have to be 30 years old and have a gold or platinum credit card. Hahaha...darn!
