Todd,

His collection sounds more "complete".

I would really like to see your "collection" someday. I think you are the first one with such an extensive collection. Congratulations

I''ve got: The Road and track guide, a post card announcing the SVX as one of the Popular Mechanics engineering award winners for 92, the prototype brochure, the pre-debut brochure, the showroom brochure, the "manual on tape" video, the sales video and the ad that reads "Drive so fast, you'll get so many tickets you'll lose your license" (which, unfortunately is becoming a prophecy -- went to State Traffic School this past weekend -- 4 tickets/2 Warnings in five years ).

I've also got the 1:42 scale model kit (I still have to assemble it ), the penlight, tool kit, pre-prep checklist, warranty book, and various and sundry bits that came in my owner's manual "wallet" (of which I have 2 )

Although I hardly post, I too am guilty of posting only when I have problems. sorry guys.

Anyways , I have a 94 ls svx. Just moved to Rochester NY from Ft. Lauderdale ( I'm still asking myself why) . I've spoted 3 other svx's here. A green, Burgundy and a black one. everytime I spoted one, they were on the road and mine was parked somewhere. Never got a chance to talk to them . I also need to find a shop around the area.

Don't feel guilty. We're happy to have "lurkers" but, it's great to get to know folks. Glad you stopped in.

So now, I gotta ask, WHAT IN THEEEE HELL WERE YOU THINKIN?" From Lauderdale to Rochester? YIKES! Just kidding. There should be a few members in your area who can help you out with a shop. There may be one or two in the "SVX SHOP SEARCH" at the top of the page. It'd be worth an initial try.

The only one is in Victor. It's not that close . I am willing but haven't had much luck w/ dealers. I've caught them selling/lying extra services that weren't even needed and they're not cheap.

Business. Rochester is a great place to raise a family. It sucks when you're single though. I usually go to Toronto to enjoy my single life. People here (most especially women) just aren't friendly. Snobbish to stuckup. A simple smile is hard to come by <- exactly.

Hi , I'm back, just didnt have the time to get back on...had to get the pearly waxed for winter & a new set of shoes for state insp. The garage didnt get my tires in on time, then they mounted the fronts backward ! The guy was sooooo embarrassed the rest of the shop wont let "Mr Perfect" live it down. Thanks everyone for the welcome, this really does seem like a great group of people. I finally got DSL in this area so now I can enjoy this site, dialup was so slow I didnt know what would happen first, the page would load or my tranny go out again !
