Two More SVX to be Scrapped Sad Sight
A friend of my daughter has a Teal '92 and a Claret '92 that he has been trying to sell. He went down as low as $400.00 for the pair.
I have no room for them. (5 cars, 1 truck, 2 boats, 3 motorcycles) They've been beside the highway for about 6 months and today when I stopped to see how they'd survived the winter I was really PO'd to see that some jack-ass had vandalized them both. The side windows are smashed and they had rummaged through them looking for who knows what. They're not in bad shape other than a little rust in the usual areas. The Teal has a mint drivers seat. I was swearing and really bummed that these two half decent cars are doomed. I'll get the VIN numbers for their obituary.

i've seen ones with nothing wrong get scrapped, even with good titles which is dumb.
I saved a 97 that has salvage title and only had 66k on it. someday, there will be a bunch of nice ones, no junky ones, and no parts left. about 2/5ths' of all SVX made were model year 1992, so that year will always be around and not be as rare as other years.

1995 LSI, Added the following - Gear Firm-Up unit (that I sell) together with Power TCU ROM & Power switch, K&N air filter, SVX side badges (USA type), Rear Deck Blower (JDM type), Side front markers (USA type), Side rear markers (USA type), Middle rear light (USA type), USA OEM Fog Lights fitted into NZ OEM glass (NZ OEM headlights had only reflectors fitted) Full set of yellow (90SH) Polish bushes includes 15 min mod, R1 Concepts drilled/slotted/gold finish rotors & Red covered braided brake lines (both from Dayle at Motorsport warehouse), EBC Redstuff brake pads. Full SVX bra (only used for shows). Koni adjustable inserts fitted inside OEM strut body, Zoom lowering springs (2" lower), OEM headlight washers fitted.

Earl : In looking at the list of 92's I notice that mine is no longer included , although it was a few years ago . This is the car I found in Oregon back in Aug 2009 . The details are :
1992 Subaru SVX LS VIN JF1CX343XNH105917 Build date 10/91 Color Pearl White /Black, charcoal interior Drive - AWD Original date of service August 1992 Car just passed 36000 miles last week , probably one of the lowest mileage 92's around . Best regards : Alan ( alanscouse)

I finally got some feedback from my daughter concerning the 2 cars. They have been sold and are gone. I don't know if they are being revived or if they were sold for scrap/parts. I think scrap is the likely scenario.
I never got the VIN numbers.
