New England Meet

Tri-State Subaru (off of Rt. 395 in Webster, MA) called today to tell me that they plan on having a SVX meet on May 10th. I have few solid details as of now, but I assume that there will be a BBQ, some door prizes, and a talk with the Master Tech. Last time we were promised free car inspections and it didn't work out. This time, however, Tri-State has assured me that the inspections will happen at this meet. So.....food, prizes, the Master Tech. and a free inspection on May 10th. More details will follow.

Adam, Kathy, Dan, Jeff..........you free on the 10th??

Dave

W00T!! I'm in! I'll talk to Kathy and see if she wants to come, too. Freaky-Freak-- can I drive your five speed? pleaseplease? oh prettyplease? i promise you it won't smell like Tri-State's WRX when Dave and I were done with it..

Dave- will you need any help? i'd be happy to come down the night before or early saturday morning to lend a hand or two.

I can't make Reading this year, so this is the next best thing.. I can't wait!

Woohoo!

Cool! Looks like we have a good start here! Tri-State said that 2 people have contacted them to say they were coming so that's 6 SVX's including me.

Adam, thanks for the offer. I'll let you know.

I was hoping to go to Reading this year but cash flow has been very weak lately...........so I'm very excited that Tri-State decided to do this. The first two meets were my ideas, but this one is all theirs. They liked the meets so much that they've decided to start putting them together themselves. Very cool.

I'll post more info as it becomes available to me.

Yup..count me in so far

May 10th...I'll be there so far. I'll put a place in my Calendar, just gotta check with my better half.

I think I may be going it alone this year. The kids just can't take all the fun and driving.....

Jeff

I can't believe it's been a year already!!!!

hey all-

i was just messin' around with illustrator and made a quick, simple New England SVX Owners Group logo.. does anyone have any input, and would anyone like to buy a t-shirt, sticker, license plate cover, set of coasters, sweatshirt, or anything else with an NESVX logo on it?

i attached the logo, and here are some links to "offical NESVX merchandise"

Yeah!

Dan! Great to see your name on the list! It's been too long!

According to Tri-State, a YELLOW SVX will be coming. That should be interesting.

Well, this looks like it will be a lot of fun! I still don't have a definite starting time, but 11:00 am is probably what it will be.

The meet will be held rain or shine. If it does rain, the dealership has a roof that extends out over part of the lot, so we can be outside without getting soaked.

At some point in time during the day (TBA) we will take a scenic drive over to Dresser Hill Farms for ice cream (or food if you don't like Tri-State's cooking). There will also be the FREE SVX inspections where you will be able to look over the car along with the mechanic.

And there are 3 prizes at the moment. I know what they are and they are pretty cool!

I'll post more info as Tri-State passes it to me!!!

Dave
