E55 Charger

No, not a Dodge charger, but a good old fashion Australian Chrysler E55 charger. (but i love all chargers, chrysler and Dodge).
Yes, you may say these came like the SVX with only auto, But with the roar of the 340 V8 under the hood, you cant go past the sound.
Yes i know they cant turn corners to well, but when you hit an open stretch, there will be a smile from one end of your face to the other

Well thats my input
i hope there are other charger admires out there

Keep on cruising

My second fav other than the svx, is the Ferrari 360 modena. It's got the most smoothest looking lines i've ever seen. And, lets not forget the '69 Camaro. My favorite luxury car is the Rolls Royce Silver Serph. Also, lets not forget the new bimmer 7-series. I think the Pontiac Aztec is THE UGLIEST car/truck/whatever the hell it is.And,lets not leave out the Whole Saturn line, I mean every car Saturn makes is crap. Anyone here ever heard how a Saturn with 3-in pipes sounds like. Basically, it sounds like crap.

Thumbs up Second Car

There is one car I would love to have next to my SVX.

!a DELOREAN!

I love the trilogy "Back to the future" and since I saw it I fell in love with that car. I once drove one, I collected everything about the car, only thing missing --> The DeLorean in my garage

if money is no object-

1995 Porsche 928GTS w/DEVEK 6.5L stroker kit and Jacquemond conversion (also full of Juggies, and Carmen Electra.)

SVX would be down on the list of many. however, for real life, it may be a winner.

Significant Technical Input Registered SVX
Out of the 50ish cars I've owned, the 2 that I think back about are:

1. 1974 Pontiac Formula Firebird 400 4 barrel,4-speed, Ram-Air Induction.

2. 1973 Pontiac Trans Am 455 SD Auto

Would love to have either of those back, I guess I love that American Muscle at heart.

Second fav car

Morgan 8 all the way. There's something devilish about being able to reach out and touch the ground from the drivers seat plus anyone who can pass U.S. crash tests while still using ash members in the construction gets my vote. Plus then there's the fact that Morgan was named the most effiecent auto company in the world by J.D. Powers a few years back.

Maybe every other Euro car company should study how Morgan does things for U.S. specs. I'm sure than my list would change. Would kill to get behind one of the newer TVRs. From what I'm told they'll run away and hid from a Vette for around the same price.

Like so many here, this is a tough one. I agree with Dougie - the EB110 is a favorite of mine. Mmmmm...I love that car...it goes in the same category, for me, as the Jaguar XJ220.

But the Bugatti has to be in blue.

Alright, if I have to pick ONE and only ONE car to sit next to mine, it has to be the Ferrari 288 GTO. It's a rally-built Ferrari - what else do you want?

But this talk of dreams is really off the original topic. As for past cars, I have owned few but I am fond of only one: my 1987 Toyota SR5 4x4. Fantastic truck, my best friend and I even HUGGED it when I dropped it off in trade for my SVX. I saw it on the road, once, several months after I traded it. I was glad to see it on the road instead of in a yard. I hope it's still serving someone well.

I guess, If I HAD to choose ONE from each era, it'd be very difficult, but, let's say, if money were no object:

Antique:
Boat Tailed Auburn

Classic:
70 'Cuda Hemi Fliptop

Exotic:
Lamborghini Countach

Current:
Saleen S7

Next to the SVX of course,
would be a band new WRX and the Hummer!
I can't figure out why I don't like any other cars.
Those are it.

Pandora's box opened:

Favorite cars actually-owned list (real short, due to the fact I drove cheap for most of my life):
'95 Mazda MX5 Miata

Favorite cars never-owned list (savagely edited to conserve space and attention spans):
Ferrari 250 GT Lusso (my first love affair at age 13; unattainable then, unattainable now)
http://www.ferrarilusso.com/
Ford Cortina Lotus (Jim Clark drove these in British saloon car club races, when he wasn't winning Grands Prix in the Formula One Lotus Ford)
http://sport.auto.free.fr/detailphot...68&zl_idMD=432

Cars I would yet like to own (no particular order; also not much chance):
1967 MGB GT (purely as a club car)
Audi S4 (current)
C6 Corvette
S500 M-B (current)
Audi S8 (current)
slammed Honda Civic tuner

(…I think I could make a weekend out of this topic)

2nd favorite car

Everyone that's saying Hummer, I hope you're talking about the original. The new H2 is simply GMs way of increasing profits on the Suburban frame from $10,000 per car to $20,000. It does a fine job of that but really would you pay $50,000 for a Subarban with less ovehang on it but that still can't go many places I could take my Brat through. Oh the joys of marketing SUVs/Breederbuggies have killed the Luxo sports car market. What a shame.

Interesting you say that... I was at the hummer dealer the other day looking at one of the H2's... It has the same seats in ot as my dads 2000 yukon! Thats one HUGE parts bin that GM has, isnt it? My 86 cavalier has the same tilt wheel lever as my friends 01 trans-am.
