VHT Nightshades, and very carefully I am "not" a painter I thought I had messed up but in the end it worked. Then I went and got LED Tails and had to redo the tinting, its not as dark now. I wish I could get them like that pic again but I am afraid I will screw them up totally if I try.

Re: 17" or 18" .. which are better

ive used 18x8.5 +50 GR sti wheels, and now 18x8 +35 on the front ( with a 30mm spacer) and 18x9+35 on the back all wit h225 40 r18, no rubbing at all, even ultra low with my coilovers.
going to get some 18x9+10 to +15 when im i njapan in sept, hoping maybe te37 or something else similar.

Yeah, that would be nice.

Thanks to all who offered opinions.

For my 92 Ebony, I ended up getting '05 STI BBS rims and I put Nexen N6000 tires on them cuz they were pretty quiet and pretty cheap.

The STi BBS rims were in my opinion made for the SVX. Transforms the look of the car.

If those are the 18 inch ones I really like the look of them. I was only going to go with 17s but might have to compromise a bit in the handling department and go with those. Can you post a pic when you have them on? You got a great price.

Re: 17" or 18" .. which are better

Picked up the Sti 10 spoke silver wheels last night. Drove over 2 hours one way to pick them up. BRAND NEW, still in subaru boxes. Paid $495 for all four, seller bought them new from subaru for over $1100. He sold his car and just wanted these gone from his outdoor shed. Will post photos soon

Welcome to the club.

That is a great deal, better than I got for either of my two sets (~700 each, used).
