Can someone measure the diameter of their OEM crank pulley?

I have an unknown aftermarket crank pulley on my SVX (I *think* it's the Motorsports Warehouse one), and I'm about certain it is underdriven because it is much smaller than the stock crank pulleys all of my Imprezas/Foresters/Legacys have had. I just want to confirm it is indeed underdriven- I'm a fan of lightened pulleys, just not underdriven ones, and I'll pull it if it is.

Thanks!
Brian

I looked around, couldn't find the diameter for the oem pulley. I have an under drive that is just over 4 3/8ths inches. It is a billet aluminum by Unorthodox Racing.

well all impreza/legacy pulleys should have the same size as an oem svx, so if its smaller than those, then its under driven.

I couldn't find it online either- I was hoping someone would measure theirs . I ended up just ordering a lightened non-underdrive pulley for an Impreza, and we'll see what happens.

If your under drive pulley is in good shape it should be almost worth the price of an OEM from subaruparts.com, around $135 + s&h. Probably some interest here. I paid $185 for mine 10 years ago.

I figured I would try here as well, I just am not a fan of underdrive pulleys- with a new or upgraded alternator they are probably fine, but I've just never been a fan of them. I'll let everyone know how the pulley on the way works out.

Uh-oh... I think the Impreza one is 5.5 inches. We'll see what happens I guess! Thanks for measuring for me!

I'm not sure what you ordered but the OEM pulley on the Legacy and Impreza is exactly the same size as the SVX. I have Leg or Imp pulley's running on both of our SVX's right now.

Re: Can someone measure the diameter of their OEM crank pulley?

I must be wrong on my memory of the size- this is a stock size lightweight replacement, so I think I should be all set.
