check engine light

does anyone know what might cause the check engine light to come on for about a min, after i just start driving,then go back out? it happened 2 times both times, i have left the house, at night, but after the temp is up ..also, i dont know if its related...but the same day, i moved the car in the driveway, and the engine ran really bad, and blew clouds of exhaust...only thing i can figure is the oxgen sensor?

get it scanned. could be a number of things. i'd rather know for sure before i start throwing new parts at the car hoping i guessed right.
