That's the unit alright. Looks just like the 411. If someone could interpret the S3 and/or S4 JDM manuals, we could find out what exactly is different about this unit?

Thanks for the pics Marcus. I have to concede the point to the lads, it looks to be no more than a rebadged Panasonic.
However Phil mentioned a P411, and your head unit is P431. I wonder does the change in number indicate anything other than the logo on the cassette door? Or is it possible the gubbins inside are tweeked in any way? Joe
