yup i saw it was a hydra ems, was just curious as to what your main reference signal was(MAS sensor, MAP sensor, or Alpha N/ TPS)

How's the vacuum on that motor at idle with the cams? I like to hook up just a good old air core handheld vacuum gauge(one that reacts near instantly to even the most minor fluctuations) to see how big cams motors are running while idling. most electronic aftermarket guages have smoothing built in and don't show any flutter when vacuum gets low due to big cams.

Hydra ems has some great tuning abilities for this setup. I would look into the cranking and cold temp ignition timing. Lack of ignition timing on a high comp motor during cranking will make it a ***** to start.

The main reference signal is an MAP sensor. I will have to ask YT to weigh in on how the timing is adjusted at start-up. Need to replace the starter first, however.

Timing was set by Precision for cranking, I never touched it... You would have to hook up a laptop to the serial port with the Hydra Nemesis program for 2.6 to check what the timing is set at

I noted that Vinny Ten does Hydra tuning. One of my track buddies has an Infiniti coupe with a Vinny Ten-built twin turbo engine. He can really make engines sit up on their hind legs and bark. I may have to give them a call, once I get the starter replaced.
