In return I will make a How-To for the whole dash board removal from the start with pictures.

If people are in need of parts, I may have a few left overs once I'm finished.

The sensors from 1stsubaruparts.com from memory are $272ea which is $AUD350ea. If you buy them from Subaru Australia they will probably be more.

I only want to sell them in a set (3) for $700, still in packaging and crank sensor in box.

I'm going to sell the car full minus all my extras unless some1 wants to take everything off my hands with all the parts mentioned above. no quotes yet.

If the price is right I will sell the number plates SVX-33L

Poor car but from the work that's already been carried out, you can put in a 5/6 speed and get another 300,000kms, put a new heater core and you can get 300,000kms with heat.

I'm sorry to hear you are parting with your car, and I hope it goes to somebody who will care for it as you have. Best of luck with the sale.

What's the JDM mirror timing unit? Is it like a controller or something? I have power mirrors for my ebony, but I never wired them in. I'm sure I need this unit.

I want it. How much will you take for it?

Thanks for making it a sticky, I don't want to part with the car but it's taking my focus away from work and I got rid of my little run about with the intention the work done to the SVX would make it reliable. I can't work on the car anymore because then I have nothing to drive.

The unit says Niles Mirror Timer or something like that, it mounts next to the NGK Thermosensor (something to do with the sparkplugs). It's either for changing mirror angle or for electrically folding.

PM me if you'd like it but I wouldn't mind finding out what it is, I typed the part number of it into to 1stsubaruparts but nothing came up.


I will sell the car with all spare parts for a cheaper price than if just selling the spare parts alone... Any takers?

The good news about those 3 engine sensors, they have gone down in price from when I last checked in 1stsubaruparts.com

I'm going to knock $70 off the price to make it $630, I'm doing this to better the most competitive price. Through Subaru Australia it's big bucks

Hey, it's a 92, did you get rid of your 3 tone JDM?

sorry for asking for a sticky when I never used it.. I was all fed up and was basically ready to part the car until I thought I'd give it one last shot! and it's all good.

About the parts that were new, I now have them second hand because the new parts are on the car and the old ones are off the car and lying around.

Knock sensors appear to be be in good condition
Camshaft Sensors are fine
Crankshaft is most likely screwed.. It twists.
Oxygen sensors are ok.

Dash removal and heater core removal how-to is on it's way but first I have to remove the dash for the second time, unfortunately.
