I have always wondered, what are the vents in the rear quarter panel for?

On Saturday we finished moving out of the apartment, cleaned it, and turned in the keys, YAY!

Sunday I spent all day cleaning out / rearranging the garage to fit the Odyssey and the BMW. Distributing boxes to their appropriate rooms while my wife unpacked.

Chris, the vents are for the trunk... Ventilation for obvious reasons..... WATER!!!

That may be the most sexy laguna I have laid eyes on!!! Its pristine on the outside!!! VERY NICE!!! The interior needs some work though, good luck with it, that is an exceptional car!!

Re: What did you do this weekend?

Went offroading Saturday. Was suppose to be a 6 hour adventure with the son-in-law. About an hour into I blow the front passenger tire on a lose rock. Put on the spare turned around and headed to the tire shop and got it fixed. Left the tire shop and desided to cut across the desert instead of taking the paved roads home. Went about a mile and blow the front driverside tire. Was back at the tire shop getting another tire in about 20 minutes of leaving. Guy at the desk thought I was messing with him. After the luck on Saturday, I figured I'd stay home and hide from the world.

Re: What did you do this weekend?

Thank you guys for the compliments but I think it's mostly the sun reflecting off the new wax. Seeing the car in person is like catching a hollywood starlet without her make up. If you haven't seen my other pics I really need a new bumper and some small spots you can't see with the naked eye are fubar .

The previous owner(s) really did a number on the electrical too( I have to tap the fuse box with my foot when the climate control system/wipers die). I'm trying to figure out why/how the front cigarette lighter was knocked out into the well under the head unit. If I can't simply snap it back in I'm going to use some artic silver epoxy. On the bright side it did come with a cold air intake when I bought it

I don't know if I should get new leather or just try to find new seats in better condition , as for the dash kit. I'm not really loving the one I bought to replace it anymore so I might hold off and keep it gray until my next pay check when i order my exhaust tips. (I'm still cleaning of the glue asap of course).

I might just buy a new kit that matches the look of the old one. I didn't hate it, but just after x number of years it was faded , dirty , and chipped. Does anyone know the name of that color?

My friends warned me, that once I stared working on the small stuff I wouldn't be able to stop...but it feels so goooood >_<

That sucks , I blew out a tire driving home late from my ex- girlfriends house ( when I was suppose to be sneaking out! >_<)

What kind of tires do you have?

Nothing special on the truck. Just a stock 2004 Mitsu Montero Sport. Had 4 year only Yokohoma Geolanders on it. More of a street tire then anything offroad. I dont do anything to saver in it. I was on a powerline road when I blow the first tire. And like I said the second one was driving through some desert sand. First tire rolled off a lose rock and the only thing I can come up with is a sharp stick or bar baried in the sand for the second.

Probubly should have dropped the pressure, but I'm too lazy. I usually run in sand and save lowering the psi until I start to get stuck.

Keeps the air flowing the proper way through the car as well I believe. Good air in the front, bad air out the back.

Changed the oil in a couple of the SVXs and went to an all you can eat crab feast.
