Talking Why I didn't make it to Reading this year

My son, William Alan Hipsky arrived Saturday night at 9:15am. Weighing in at 9.01 pounds and 20.5" long he and my wife are doing great. He was slightly delayed as his due date was 4/30 but he could have come at any time which prevented my trip to the parking lot that is Reading

Congrats to you and Mrs. Chad.

But I really don't see that as a valid excuse??? Are you a doctor? Did you have to be there??? And if so, she could have come along... There are hospitals out here you know

Just kidding man, congratulations and we'll see you next year at Reading X.

Todd! Congratulations! He's a real cutie. I hope he and Wendy are doing well.
Are his initials an acronym for what your days and nights are filled with?
Have fun and try to get some sleep. Enjoy him while he is still ****ting mustard. Those days go by too fast.

Great!

Hi Todd, I will have to say that this confirms my thinking that SVX owners have the best looking kids. Your about the same age as I was when Sue and I had Nicole, my one and only. I think older parents are much better as they don't have some of the stuff going on as when you were younger. Enjoy every minute. Take care and give the little guy a hug for me, BOBB

Beautiful, Todd, just beautiful. Congratulations.

I think that is a pretty genuine excuse to miss Reading, whatever this bunch of dipstick wipers tell you.

Please pass on my good wishes to Wendy [and to William, of course!] and I hope he does not keep you up too many nights. It's all good though.

Joe

OK, from the top...

Thanks to Brian, Dave, Matt, Tom, Mike, Huck, Phil, Mark, Bobb, Joe, and Bill

He's doing great. Gained a pound and a quarter since birth. Sleep is taken by al three of us in fits and starts

William is his birth name, but we've decided to call him Liam after our ancestral heritage and a love of Joe's country That trip will always have a special place in our hearts and minds with many thanks do to you and your lovely family, Joe

OK, he's sleeping so off to clean up the yard

Liam is a cool name. I like it Todd.

If you guys are bringing Liam over to see the Auld Sod, we'll be here for you, love to see you all.

Todd, wait till you see [and drive] my Jersey Girl. 38,000 miles, drives like a new car. I am spoilt for driving all other inferior motors.

Joe

Thank you for the invite Joe. We'd love to come back and will though not in the foreseeable future unfortunately

If you and your family do make it over, we'd love to see you again and have you as house guests. Part of the reason for the delayed trip is our new house as Wendy felt a move whilst 7.5 months pregnant was in order As I said to you and Ann in Ireland with everything there is to see and do over here, Detroit would most likely not be somewhere I'd stop if I were you.

I'd love to drive your new car, she sounds fantastic. A low mileage SVX, as FHI intended them to be, is an amazing thing. Our '95 had only 34,xxx miles on here when we bought her and the 12 hour drive from Baltimore to Detroit was beautiful

Cheers,
Todd
