If it has heated seats, the car is not USDM, but maybe Canadian. That is of course if you didn't add them yourself.

I thought some of the US cars had heated seats? my owners manual for my car (manual is from a 96) mentions heated seats.

Your manual could be from a '96 Canadian car, I suppose?

I used have the US Workshop Manual. It had sections where it showed Canadian cars. In particular the wiring was different. Canadian cars had daytime running lights, and they had the seat heaters.

My 95's manual also mentions heated seats. However, I know my car is not Canadian because of the lack of running lights.

Here's a picture of the accessory catalogue showing the head unit and attached is a photo of the player from one of my cars.
http://www.geocities.com/Jamsvx/jdmaccessories1.html

There are two very slighly different versions of this player. One version takes 6 full size CDs plus 6 mini CDs. The other version takes 12 full size CDs. But the CD magazines are interchangable between the two versions.

I got a different brouchure. I got to see if I can get it scanned.

I don't know the year it came from but the cover page looks like an S4 with the chrome grille, Bordeaux, and those bbs rs's.

It was mentioned OK. Check back on post #4, point 11.

However, I'm not all that sure about point #1, heated seats. The comparison is between US cars and JDM cars. Personally I have never seen a Japanese SVX with heated seats, not even the top range CXD model, also known as Version L, the one that comes with powered 4WS. Nor have I ever seen one advertised that claimed to have heated seats.

The UK cars came fully loaded and they all had heated seats as standard. I just don't think the Japanese had it, not even as an option.
