Bill...what makes you say it's running a turbo? There's a whole heap out there that are just running standard. There's a few listed with turbos too, but he's quoting 230hp...sounds stock to me.

In aviation turbo's aren't used as power boosters. As you climb, air density decreases. As air density decreases you lose engine performance. The point of having turbochargers in airplanes is to maintain sea level air density as high as possible so the engine retains it's peak performance all the way to the max altitute the plane can fly at.

Superchargers, on the other hand, are there to get things moving real fast.
