The guy who owns this car used to work at my company. He took me for a ride in it a few times. Scary fast.

It's a wonderful design Trevor and I'm not knocking it, just talking about the ultimate limitations.

A powerful Caterham or any Seven clone can trounce most supercars, and for small money.

Respect due, I'm thinking.

I might have dumped that goldwing too soon! I should have built something like these out of it. I HATED it as a bike!

(I thought about building a sawmill out of it)

i dont think braking wouldbe a horrible issue, its basically exactly the same as brakeing on a sportbike, you cant just grab the brake, smoothly apply, and load the suspension instead of just bottoming it out. but god, id love just one hour in any of these cars!!!

Yes, very like braking on a sportsbike. Let the front load up before serious braking.

This won the 0-100-0 shootout this year in England, beating all opposition.

I'll see if I can scan the results.

The Ariel Atom looks like a Colin Chapman dream car.
There were rumors circulating that when he designed the Seven's chassis, He started removing bars, until it collapsed, then put the last one back in.

Agreed.

I think the Atom is the new Lotus Seven.
