Tom:

I'm ordering us some head studs. Hopefully they work. I won't even send them to you until I see they properly screw into our block. I'll try to rush this stuff to you as you are the Beta test here.

Ya, check and see what it will come out to honed. I'm worried these blocks will be too loose to use the same pistons again. It seems you need to keep your side wall clearances to .0035 or you get skirt slap. I'm thinking we really need to start getting pistons made.

I don't know what you are worried about Chuck. Tom obviously already has and used a set of them. I already have a set. I haven't installed them yet but the numbers all looked right to me.

I didn't use ARP studs... unless you are speaking of the other Tom... which is making things in the performance world a lot more confusing

Yes I know. But the last person I talked to at ARP gave me conflicting information. They are very difficult to deal with.

The chances are none that you will have them this weekend. The cost I was previously quoted was just under $340. Not including shipping and whatever taxes they might charge. Let me know if you still want a set. I will be trying to order this morning.

Head Studs

The bad news is that the studs are not going to be completed for another couple of weeks. The good news is the price is lower. about $275. There are enough of the small bolts for about 5 kits. Let me know who wants them.

Chuck,
Again, I'm in as long as there are no issues regarding their use. Looks like YT will be the first one to use them.

Actually it's the standard studs they are out of. The factory should have them done by the end of week. But I don't trust anything that they say anymore.

I just ordered studs for myself only. If you want studs the phone number for the ARP location that is familiar with the kit is (805) 525-1497. Ask for Justin. The kit cost is $275. I hope this gets to you in time
