Windshield?
Is this a good place to ask for good windshield? Or am I dreaming....?
I'm in Maine, can drive to anywhere in NE to get it. Dealer price for a new one is rather impressive...

Today is your lucky day cuz i got a winshield for ya if your willing to drive to St.Louis..I know the dealler wants 1,150$ for 1 ill sell it to you for 650$ let me know quickley and if u need pics i got them

Today is even luckier. There is a supplier that sells them for $275.00. They come in green/blue tint, or bronze. I will look up the information about them. They do come out of China, but they guarentee 100% statisfaction. I am going to try to see one of them and check out the quality.

I'm gonna need one too.........dang thing cracked all the way up from a pinhole chip..... Earl, who's this seller you speak of? And is that price include shipping? Damn, this site is great! On my end I decided not to travel so am biting the bullet and having the dealer in Portland Maine do it. Got the price down a bit, but nowhere's near that "China" deal...

Earl, or anyone else, what color is my windshield on a 95 polo green svx?
Does it actually have green tint? I'm asking because I'm trying to get quotes online at this point. I think some choices are bronze, blue, and green tint.

I guess a way to do it is to hold a piece of white paper on it from the outside and sit inside the car to see what color it closely matches....I saw that somewhere browsing the internet while trying to get quotes.
I'll have to do that later in the parking lot at work to confirm.

Earl, if you can get me some info on that supplier it would be greatly appriciated. I have a guy that can install it, it's just getting the glass itself that is extremely pricy, especially around here. Thanks.
