Bump Bump Bump

Well, that's what I feel when I let off the accelerator while driving on the highway. My suspension sucks, and I'm in dire need of new struts, but I think it's the axle. Also, just had a tranny rebuild maybe 2 months ago, and my 1st to 2nd gear shift is a jump @ 3000rpm, and I feel something similar, but in the form of a smaller jolt in the higher gears unless I accelerate right before it shifts. I dunno, I'm getting so tired of this car, but then people compliment its rarity and I suck it up and fix whatever's wrong. BTW, thanks to everyone that's been helping me piece this thing together over the past few months. I doubt it'd be running right now without input from the people here.

Get the car up on a lift and start looking at things

Trans and engine mounts would be the first two things on my list.

but were they tightened down correctly?
You might also want to check out the driveshaft to see if there's any play in it.

You know what...checking that driveshaft is a damn good idea. I felt something weird with it when I was putting it back in, but at that point I didn't have a car for 2 weeks and didn't care.
