I thought that STX allowed body modifications within certain specifications. I guess that is not one of the specifications.

If you're going after the later, the SVX is not the car to do it in - at least not in STX. Give Ben/Dave and myself another year or two to sort our rides out to see if the SVX can be competitive in ESP and FP, in the meantime, just pick a class (GS, ESP, SM, STX) and get plenty of seat time. -Bill

Also, you think that 245/45/16 are going to eat the fenderwells on the RX-7 rims (there will be a Koni/GC set up in the mix as well).
