Exclamation misfire question

my 1992 LSL is misfiring now continuosly while at all RPMs. It first started to do this about a week ago but very random and seldom, and only at about 0 - 2000 rpms and then it would usually go away or only be noticable in that range. I've been reading other misfire threads, and we have had massive amounts of rain recently. I checked the air filter for water, and I am going to I guess have the injectors/spark plug changed. I don't understand this series of events. Any thoughts?

If you want to find out which cylinder is misfiring, while the engine is idling, you can disconnect, one at a time, the fuel injector connections.
If it gets worse on five cylinders, and has no change on one of them, that is where your miss is.
Remove that coil and plug and check it to see if it has spark.
Then report back to us.

Do as Svxfiles suggested and find out which one it is, Then let us know about the spark situation.

Exclamation Whoa

Um, how the hell do get to the spark plugs? I took off the air intake at the air filter and pushed out of the way and see 3 cords running behind small plates with a single screw in them. The screw would not come even with a 3 foot cheater bar on it. I was just going to ruin the screw. How the F*** are they gonna make it that hard to access your spark plugs? I didnt see a distributer cap either...bizarre...Anyone in the Akron/Cleveland area want to make some money?? I got no time and really don't wanna get my butt pounded by the subaru dealer. PM me or post.

Exclamation Update

I checked all the injector like someone aboved stated. I found out that the blue wire on the passenger side (closest to firewall) was the culprit. Now if i could only figure out how to replace the spark plug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our cars have coil on plug ignition. The plate you see is the top of a coil. There is one bolt holding each coil pack on the plug. You need to remove the air box and duct and remove the battery to get to them easiest.use a spark plug socket on a 6 inch extension to get the plugs out. I'd love to make some money before Reading,But I just broke my other hand Monday,So I'm kinda useless.

Here is a close up of coil #5, the last one on the passenger side.
This shows the 12mm bolt (head) that you remove to take out the sparkplug.

With the airbox and "snorkus" removed you should be able to remove it.

Good to hear it's running well. Hopefully the cause isn't something else like a leaky injector or otherwise.
