The newest coach of.....
The wildcats of a tri-state rec league for basketball. Most of the teams are from the NYC area but a few are from northern NJ and connecticut. My old bball coach from elementary school stepped down and asked me to run the show this year. I've kept in touch with him alot over the years....he's going to mentor me through this. Team of guys 18 and over....gonna be a big challenge. First practice with me running the show was today...and wow its not easy at all lol. I'm trying to implement my own system and so far the guys seem pretty receptive. First game of the season is one week from today. Last year the cats went 9-21
 . Well...time to get all my suits dry cleaned

your first job as coach should be to change the name of the team to the Tri-State N00bs, which would be appropriate since they will be coached by teh n00bonDemand.

1-1.....we lost our first game 83-76...we came back from 21 down to come to within 4 but then they pulled away and we could never come back. Second game we made a few adjustments and dominated the second half after going down 34-20 at halftime. Our defense was dominant in the second half and we held them to just 20 points....and we won 60-54. So far im impressed with these guys...defense is the key...hopefully their buying into my system. So far ive heard one girl say im the sharpest dressed coach
