left front bank knock sensor

well it not my svx but it is a subie
my 2001 legacy L 2.5 sohc 16v the check engine light keeps coming off and on all the time.
it the left front bank knock sensor. now i have changed the oil, plugs, and ran some stp fuelinjector. the light come on in the mornig sometime if it hot outside it like to stay on, but on the way home from work at about 10pm it a little cooler outside the light will be off and stay off the hole trip its about a 25 mile trip.
i was just seeing if any of you guys know anything that could or would make a knock sensor go off would be helpful.
i have ran out of ideas

The knock sensor is probably just bad. Replace it.
