They might be taking that gold and putting it in the darn tranny.
2 weeks is too long. It shouldn't take that long. That's BS! That makes me remember the time my 93 Mirage was at the dealer for a month and a half to get the tranny fixed because it melted. They were apparently thinking that they were punishing me for 'abusing' the car because I was only 20. If Mitsi would have made them a better snow car it wouldn't have blown up. Strange though, the 94's were an inch higher in ground clearance. And the dealer lost thier franchise a year after me incident. It's amazing what can happen when you talk to a company rep for the North American continent.

Randy, I hope you get your car back very soon.

Thanks, I hope so too. It's been three weeks now. I took it in at 8am on the 6th of Feb. I've been calm the past couple of days, but, on the drive in to work this morning, as I watched the odometer advancing on the rental car, I got angrier with each mile. I've reached my patience limit. They have 'til tomorrow to match the 24 days they kept it the last time this happened.

Legal recourse??

Have you worked on the way they will pay you for the rental of your car? (I mean the SVX) After one full month of not being able to access your car, due to their incompetence, they should owe you money by now. Shouldn't they?

Well, I would think so. But, at this point, I just want the car back and working right. I never want to see them again -- whether it's because they've finally gotten it right, or, I take it somewhere else. I'll see how things "shake out" before I go off "half cocked." BUT, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that if they try to charge me anything for this fiasco, there will be fireworks.

I'm sorry, it should have been 3 weeks instead of 2. I've been working six days a week since the new year and I sometimes forget what day it is. Add to that I have a lingering cold and, well, I do stupid things.
