Another Trick Feature Foul-up

I once passed a dealership in Houston with an SVX on prominent display. As a fan of the car, I stopped to have a look. It was pristine and the price on the windshield was reasonable. The car was unlocked so I peeked inside, and it was as nice as the exterior. About that time a salesman came up to show me the car and answer my questions. I asked about the mileage accuracy and whether or not the car had a clear title. Then I asked if he minded if I sat in the car and started it. "No," he says, "help yourself. But be aware that the steering column adjustment lever is broken and the wheel is down pretty low. Its a tight squeeze. We haven't been able to find the parts to replace the lever, so that's why we've knocked the price down." TA-DA!!!

I'm not a player. I am Gemini though. Split Indifference makes wonders back at the women when they can't decide for themselves either.

My mom has a PhD and if Im only making what she is Im gonna be a little disapointed

I am hijacking the thread and bringing it back to the original topic

About 4 months after owning my SVX, it developed a rattle somewhere near the rear deck that got especially obnoxious in the 65-70mph range (which is where most of my driving is).

In an attempt to fix the rattle I have had the rear interior of my car out atleast 4 times. I've replaced both side panels, the rear speaker grills, the rear speakers, dynomatted the rear speakers, replaced just about every clip, replaced the struts, tightened every bolt, sprayed silicone lube in all the cracks, and duct taped anything that appeared loose.

After living with the rattle for 3 years, I seem to have fixed it today.
I drilled a hole under each of the caps on the speaker grills, and held them in place with a small screw.
