Angry What do I have to do with my dad's life insurance!?

Today, insurance from Penn State came in to interview my father on how "eligible" he is for life insurance and disabilities since he just came down with a pretty bad arthritic condition throughout his body. While there they wanted to know what I went to school, MY car's make, model and license and who knows what other stuff about me. Worst of all, my parents just handed over. I think I have has enough arguing with them why they did it since it will do nothing to help. What does this mean in my opinion, it pretty much gives them the right to surveillance me and to search through all my records as though I were once of their customers, which I AM NOT. What also puzzles me is if they did if they were afraid of family collaboration for fraud why didn't they ask about their parents or other family members. Right now though I am not 18 so I guess they can treat me as a minor and do what they like with my info since I am to the government one with my parents so to speak, but once I turn 18 I WANT OUT IF NOT NOW.

Does anybody know how I can get out of this other than sneaking in to their headquarters and burning my records or better yet the whole freaking building? If not than this is just a rant.

Get over it man! The info provided was probably nothing more than public knowledge. I'll bet I can come up with most of your vitals in about 30 minutes. Once you realize how "public" such things are like your ss#, d.o.b., city of b., mother's madien name, etc the sooner you'll understand not to use it as if it is privledged info.

What can I say, you're right. Like I said if it doesn't contribute or make any sense in contrast to how things work and transpire in this country, its nothing more than a rant. I do realize that much of the info the guy and asked and what you stated is public, even though I don't like how public ss#s are, and do respect that, to a certain extent. And they are probably a good insurance company since they nicely asked some of my info rather than just scrounging around for it themselves without us knowing. Even though like police they probably already have the info and might just be asking to see how honest my dad is. It just seems strange why they would ask about me without asking about other family members, perhaps they're looking for potential customers. When it comes down to it, I guess it just comes from my paranoia of reveling what is in my opinion personal info that can be used against me, or just reveling anything about myself unconditionally for that matter.

Or maybe the agents watching my dad just wanted to know what that red coupe me and my dad are driving.
