06 Impreza, the real deal.

Let me just show you the pics and you decide for yourself.

Thank the folks at NASIOC for being the first to jump on an article reported by http://subarunews.net/. Here is the late 2005 facelift for the Legacy as well as the 2005 Legacy Blitzen, thanks once more to Subarunews. I guess you can say for some of you, it is something to ease your eyes a bit.

apparently Subarunews is not really based on factual information.

that is not a facelift for the Legacy - it was a design study. that grille is available in Europe and Japan as an accessory - you can buy it right now from a dealer.

the wagon is just the JDM 3.0R wagon.

that *is* the latest Blitzen.

i could be wrong, but there is no official STi Legacy - the one in the pics was just "tuned by STi."

Get rid of the "Ford" looking grill on the 3.0R specB and you'd have yourself a car that looks as wicked as an M3 or M5 Bimmer. What the heck is up with that boring as all get-out grill???

The new Impreza face doesn't really offend me. It's fine. What is remarkable is that, in only five years or so, the current-gen Impreza has had three completely different faces.

The Legacy's fine. I still love the way that car looks.

The Legacy looks good, for now. The new nose will kill it. I don't like the new Impreza. The 05 looks great. Why kill it so soon? The Forester getting that Edsel-esque nose as well? Ugh!
