Is this the ABS or parking brake line?

Is this the ABS or parking brake line? This doesn't look too normal...
My parking brake doesn't work at all. Can't get it inspected without it

I could tell you if my SVX wasn't in the shop

Looks like ABS, but I can't be sure without looking at it. Is your ABS light on?

Yeah, ABS light is on and the code is 5 for ABS Sensor. But my E-Brake doesn't work either so I'm not sure which one is cut.

Good call. After figuring out how to get the console out, I tightened up the ebrake as best as I could and tested each rear wheel on the scissor jack one at a time. The passenger didn't move, while the driver's wheel still moved. So I guess it's the ebrake line!

It's not entirely bad, I'm sure just one wheel will keep the car stopped for the safety inspection. Thanks!

I never used the ebrake once while I owned it...so I couldnt tell you whether it worked or not. Actually...I think I may have used it when taking out the stereo (gotta put the gear shift to 1 to get the cage out) and it worked then.

Finding stuff I didnt even know about my own car, lol...I guess I need to keep a better eye on stuff like this.

I haven't spent enough time poking around my car's rear supension to tell what that is by your photo, but the line to the ABS sensor would be an electrical wire, while the emergency brake linkage is a mechanical cable.

I just went and checked the parking brake in my red car...and the 2 are completely different. I could BARELY pull the lever up on the red one, when the white car was really easy to pull up.

Yeah you usually learn a lot about your car when you do repairs yourself. That's how I learned not to change spark plugs when the engine is hot on a 1990 Legacy

I would assume they guys that did the suspension rebuild after the accident cut the line and didn't bother with it, cause there's about a foot missing.
