no offense ,, but u will never see a svx run what a wrx will,, i only have 1,000 $ invested in modfications,, runing a 4 cylinder stock turbo and stock tranny,, . but again seeing a heavy svx run anything faster then 15s is verry nice

Solar, while I agree with you, you know better than to say that in front of subafreak. He'll have a rocket strapped to the backof his 5spd just to make it happen.

Hi Solar,

Just a bit off topic, but you might want to look at these web pages. Looks like manual pages for the WRX.

How did I become the crazy defender of 1/4 mile SVX's? We got one stripped to it's core runnin 13.8's on 100shot. I think we'll need a little more ammo befor we start tempting WRX's.

Besides rockets will burn the paint if your not carfull.

Re: new best time

What mods have you done to your car? Any worries about breaking the tranny or roasting the clutch?

i'm guessing turbo-back exhaust. maybe a re-flashed ECU, too? i'd get those in a second if the wifey would let me, but i'd also like to keep my warranty intact.

Re: new best time

That's a solid time for only $1000 in mods. Good driving!

Solar: Why did you sell your DSM? I thought early DSMs were god's gift to the world? At least, you used to talk about them like they were. What changed your mind??? I think WRXs are OKAY, but I think I'd rather have a built DSM.....
