Photochop/ graphics request

Any photochoppers want to take a stab at a logo for our racer? We're calling it the "SVreX". I thought we could take the SVX logo, stretch it a bit with the "V" and the "X" still connected at the top, and add in the letters "re"

i think that looks pretty good, although I think you need to incorporate some of teh red in the X also... i would try, but i suck at it, so i'll spare you the chopping of the logo

This would need to be done in a much higher resolution if it were to be actually used...

I like them both, but I think I like the first one better- it preserves the original SVX logo a little better.

The car is Polo green and black. The red is cool, but I don't think the black will work. It will need to be a light color with the dark background.

hey paul check out the red svx logo for the network. see if someone can use the design on top of the letters SVX . adding that window design would look cool

Yeah, that's a cool logo. I still think I like Phoenix's design- It kind of looks like the original. I'm thinking we'll put it on the panel under the triangular rear-most glass where the later models had "SVX" badging.

I'm no graphic designer (never really got into typography or logo design very much), but what about using something that matches the logo typeface better? This is quick and dirty, but sort of what I mean.

So many photochops, so little time....

I like it, Pockets, but I'm still coming back to the first one. The SVX logo is maintained, but the word REX is clearly still seperate and has its own dominance.

(When I was in design school, they taught us to use bull**** lines like..." clearly still seperate and has its own dominance")

Hey, as I said, I'm no graphic designer. I had design courses at school, but I focused on stuff I was more interested in.

Have you posted any photos of the car as it is now? I saw the photos of Jason installing your Konis, but nothing else.

Hmmm- No, I'm a little behind on that.

I'm hoping phoenix doesn't mind my using this logo, but what do you think of gold instead of black?

That's a possibility- it would show up better on the green/ black car.

Kind of like a gold-tone badging.
