Yes! Can it actually be?

"Official" anniversary: March 15!

Thanks to our wonderful "Archivist," sith, we can trace the beginnings from the Yahoo forum. Here's the first announcement:

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=52928

Be sure to read the replies. There were pros and cons (more pros, thankyaverrymuch ).

Here's the second announcement, which, unfortunately echoes the constant nagging of tickets I've had since I've gotten the car:

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=52928

Here's the third reminder, with four days to go! (Yes, I'm in advertising and marketing )

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=54238

We got our first negative post just prior to the grand opening, by none other than the sophisticated and ever-positive "eddycat."

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=54256

Obviously, I had to reply:

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=54351

Of course, some people stopped short of calling me a "Brutus." Some didn't:

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=54256

Then, the day came. Steve Wasion posted:

http://www.subaru-svx.net/archive/ar...?message=54786

The day of the grand opening, we started anticipating. This was just before noon.

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...=&threadid=103

The morning after, we voiced our impressions. Too bad some of the members aren't hanging around any more. I miss joeaux and svxter. The others have pretty much hung around.

http://www.subaru-svx.net/forum/show...=&threadid=108

The rest is history.

Gosh, going back through those old posts sure brought back some great memories.

My only regret is that I wasn't here to read Eddcats posts 'live' that must have been classic good times.

With all this remeniscing (God I'm pissed) shouldn't Randy have his original avatar?

Well how the hell do you expect me to know. That was almost three bleedin' years ago. I can barely remember yesterday!

I fear the seventies have taken their toll.

Yes, smart ass, I'm sure. I graduated high school in '73 and I was a "goody two-shoes" up until then. I made up for lost time, in the seventies.

PS: I drove a Ford in the seventies. I think
