Thumbs up good car wax

I just waxed a car today, (to work off some turkey) and I used some Meguiar's Gold Class wax for the first time. This stuff is great. I tossed the can I had of Napa Blue Max after one try. That stuff is nasty. I've tried a ton of car waxes and this stuff is the best I've tried. I don't know how long it will last but it sure went on and off nicely and looks great. I know everybody has an opinion on car wax so maybe I shouldn't even start this thread but this stuff is a good product. Made a hard job just a little less so.

I'm a fan of the stuff myself. It appears to last the longest of all the meguiars waxs i've tryed but i can't agree with ya on it makin a hard job any easier. The damn stuff never seems to fully haze no matter how long i leave it. I usually end up buffin twice to get rid of the smears. ANy tips?

I used to use Meguiar's Gold Class wax. Then I switched to 3M. Now, I use Zanio Brothers system. Let me put it this way. I put 2 coats of that stuff on last April and my SVX is still looking shiny (if I wash it). The coats are wetter than meguiars and easier/quicker to put on.

My car has been dead since May or so. So it sat in my parking lot. Since then, it saw rain, snow, and even mud rain a couple of days ago. I just wiped off the dust and guess what? Check out the reflection on the top (portion I wiped off). The rest of the car looks like it's a mud brick. That's from zainos in april.

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
