Don't worry, I will. I'm sure I'd need a prescription of ampersand. Possibly a shot in the ol' asterisk. Of course, my wife and I have been parentheses for many years now, in fact, November will mark our 25th anniversary -- that should call for something that is measured in carets -- right?

No question about it, a couple of carets should do. It's sure to produce quite an exclamation, all things being equal. On the minus side, it may cost you some $$, but in your tax bracket, I'm sure you'll hardly notice. It surely won't be a financial apostrophe, but don't quote me on that.

At least until Don gets home and takes over for the night shift, which I think would be a capital idea

Who let the dogs out?

Heavens to Betsy, I came back to a proverbial pun-frenzy! I coax Bill out of "retirement" and Randy,Ron, Joe and others hit passing gear! I think the "pun-ctuation" jokes have been pretty well covered...excellently I might add. I don't come up with many good ones; I just like to "kick start" the process and then watch the creativity flow!

...now if you will excuse me, I've been repainting our guest bedroom and I need to get back and finish the job. I think the walls need a few more quotes. Don

I've been searching the Japanese sites, and haven't found anything nearly as elaborate as what we've got. Of course maybe I'm just not using the right search engines...

You're right, Kev. I've been kinda poking around for the last two years for a Japanese "Network-type" site. I've found a lot of personal sites, but, not too many forums. The Japanese have some monster meets, so, they've gotta be commuting somehow. Perhaps "paddles" will clue us in, when they get back from holiday.

I did find a someone who mentioned a dutch one:

www.svx-club.de

which has apparently fallen thru as it no longer exists.

As for this being a success. I like how we are averaging over 10 posts per thread. Meaning we can find something to say for nearly everyone's topics. Even though it tends to drift WAY OT (ie. the what oil thread!!)

Perhaps they were hit with a "cease and desist order" like the German club. Yep, that's right. Subaru of Germany put the ol' brakes on the German club.

Never heard details. Just that they "shut 'em down." They kept their home page up, for a while, saying they were forced to close shop, but, I couldn't read enough German to know why, and nobody bothered to translate.

How very strange. It would seem the last "public relations" act you would want to perform is dumping on a bunch of enthusiasts for your product. It would be interesting to know the details.
