I bet this has a similar feeling to locking your keys in the car. Much like mine were. Anyone have the hookups for finding an upper driver's side BRONZE window? I HAVE a BLUE one I'd be willing to trade.

Buying a new alarm system is less expensive than buying a new remote! I was surprised by that. Might as well try the new alarm.

I've bought some extra remotes, so I'm really 'swimming in them'! It turns out that the remotes all probably work, but the receiver or control in the car isn't working. I've tried the 'reset' procedure a whole bunch of times and it just doesn't work at all.
Does anybody have some clues to check out the unit in the car, or does someone have the electrical schematic so I could wire in another remote control? I bought a remote control for my boat 'trolley' here at our new home that has four buttons for different functions. Besides the multi-function capability, I bought it for the great range it offers. I can get about 150-200 ft. out of it (about double what I had been getting out 'garage door opener' controls. Really like this forum- it's nice to know there are a bunch of other people out there with similar problems, concerns and LOVES. -Mark |
